Now that you can make the Texas rig your options are open on the application of this rig.

Remember there are no rules in fishing. You can play with the combinations of weight and hook size and plastic lure size and shape. Let me give you an example.  When the fish are reacting to fast falling or moving plastics you can use a ½ ounce bullet weight with a plastic of your choice.

But if they want the slow fall on the day you can use for example a 4 inch  Damiki air craw with glass rattle inserted with a 5/0 hook and a ¼ once or even less.

Size and falling speed with or without rattles or beads will depend on you.

Play with the idea off falling and movement speed it really makes a difference.
